Overview: Through personal, real-world experiences of research and sharing, in the Sticky Faith Parent Curriculum, Kara Powell, Ph.D., presents powerful strategies and practical ideas to help parents encourage their children's spiritual growth, enabling them to develop a faith that sticks. Includes five 20-minute video sessions, interviews with students and parents, and discussion questions for groups. Parent of two grown children and 20+ year veteran youth Sunday School teacher, Lee Forrest, will facilitate the conversation.
This course is great for any parent, even parents of young children, but especially for parents of teens and pre-teens. Co-author Chap Clark had children 23, 26, and 29 years old at the time of the writing. Powell's children were much younger and she wrote, "My three children are five, nine, and eleven years old, and our research impacts the way my husband and I parent every day."
A virtual link will be made available and all are encouraged to invite friends and family (virtually or in-person) whom you feel may benefit from this course.
